The Best Camping Table for a Blackstone Griddle (and Other Tabletop Griddles)

How we picked

Shopping for a camping table for a Blackstone griddle, or any tabletop griddle, comes down to three published numbers and one promise: the load rating on the top, the size of the top against the griddle's footprint, the working height, and whether the maker rates the surface for heat. Every stand here had a live Amazon listing when we checked on 2026-09-22, and each carries a Built-to-Last score from our published scoring rubric. We never say a griddle fits a stand unless the griddle maker, the stand maker or its dealer says so. Products we claim to have tested: 0. The numbers, side by side

The Slim-Fold leads at 5.6 because it is the one stand whose maker names griddles and publishes a load rating for the top that holds them. Its 48 lb figure is modest, and GCI's 3-year limited warranty is modest too, but both are more than the griddle-specific stand offers on paper. The GCI Master scores 0.2 lower at 5.4 and trades the Slim-Fold's four side tables for a sink, a lantern pole and a 32.3-inch height.

Why the Blackstone stand ranks second

The Blackstone XL Griddle Stand (5477) scores 4.0, the lowest on this page, yet it ranks above two cook stations that outscore it: the GCI Master (5.4) and the Kamp-Rite Kwik Pantry (5.0). That's a deliberate call for this page's job. It is the only stand here sold specifically for tabletop griddles. Blackstone's own page describes a recessed surface made for tabletop griddles. Hancock Appliance, a Blackstone dealer, lists it as fitting Blackstone's 17-inch and 22-inch griddles and its E-Series units. The Master and Kwik Pantry are built for stoves and grills, and neither maker names a griddle.

Its low score is mostly missing data, not bad data. Blackstone publishes no load rating, no weight, no height settings and no dimensions for the 5477, so it takes our “not published” bands for build and portability, then a 1-year warranty and no listed stand parts on top. That is also why it doesn't take first place: a stand with no published load rating can't outrank one its maker rates for a griddle. One more thing to know before you order: Blackstone's own store showed it as backordered on 2026-09-22.

The Lifetime 80387 sits last for the opposite reason. It scores 7.2, higher than anything else here, but Lifetime publishes no heat rating for its HDPE top, so it belongs beside the griddle as a prep table, never under it.

The weight math

Blackstone publishes the weights of its tabletop griddles, which makes this the easiest check on the page. It lists the 22-inch Tabletop Griddle at 33.5 lb and the 17-inch Tabletop Griddle with Hood at 33 lb.

One more trap: the Slim-Fold's side tables are rated to 30 lb each and both GCI lower racks to 35 lb. Those are for plates, tools and a cooler, not the griddle. GCI's 48 lb applies only to the main aluminum top.

The footprint problem

Weight is only half the fit. Blackstone lists the 22-inch griddle at 22.75 inches wide by 22.5 deep, and the 17-inch with hood at 22.75 by 23.5. Now the stands: the whole Slim-Fold is 21 inches deep when open, the Master 21.7 and the Kwik Pantry sets up 22 inches wide by 35 long. On paper, each is shallower than either griddle's listed depth.

That doesn't prove the griddle won't sit securely. Blackstone's figures are overall dimensions, and the feet may sit inside them. But neither GCI nor Kamp-Rite publishes the size of its main top, so paper can't settle it. If you already own the griddle, measure the distance between its feet and ask the stand's maker before you buy.

Coleman shows what a maker saying no looks like. Asked whether its Pack-Away Kitchen's side table would hold a 22-inch Blackstone, Coleman Consumer Care said the griddle would overhang the table by about 3 inches and that the side table is “primarily intended for lighter Coleman appliances.” That kitchen is ranked, with that caveat, in our best camp kitchen tables. It isn't on this page.

Working height, griddle included

A tabletop griddle brings its own height. Blackstone lists the 22-inch at 9 inches tall, so its top edge lands about 37 inches up on the 28-inch Slim-Fold, about 41 inches on the 32.3-inch Master and about 42 on the 33-inch Kwik Pantry, with the cooking surface a little lower. The 5477 adjusts with locking clips, but Blackstone doesn't publish the heights. The Lifetime sets at 24, 29 or 34 inches.

The takeaway runs against instinct: with a griddle, a taller stand isn't automatically better. Stand at your kitchen counter at home, note where your hands fall comfortably, and pick the stand whose height plus the griddle's lands there. Heat and the top

Every griddle-ready stand here has a metal top its maker describes for stoves or griddles, and that is the minimum:

• GCI Slim-Fold: a heat-resistant aluminum top “ideal for supporting camp stoves, griddles, and hot cookware.”
• Blackstone 5477: a recessed steel surface made for tabletop griddles.
• GCI Master: an aluminum surface built to handle high heat from grills, stoves or hot cookware.
• Kamp-Rite Kwik Pantry: a roll-out aluminum top with a detachable windshield for use with a camp stove.

The Lifetime's HDPE top has no heat rating, which is why it's here only as the prep surface. The same goes for every plain folding table we score.

Warranty and parts

For context, Blackstone gives its 22-inch tabletop griddle the same one-year manufacturer's warranty as the stand. GCI's three years is the longest term on any heat-ready stand here, and it is a big part of why the Slim-Fold leads. We go through the Slim-Fold in detail in our GCI Slim-Fold Cook Station review.

What didn't make the list

Blackstone's original 17-inch and 22-inch stand (5013). Blackstone's US store no longer lists it, so we left it out rather than point you at a listing that may not be restocked.

The Camp Chef Sherpa and the Coleman Pack-Away Kitchen. Camp Chef publishes no stove rating for the Sherpa's top, and Coleman's own answer says a 22-inch Blackstone would overhang its kitchen's side table.

Plain folding tables. None of the tables in our best camping tables publishes a heat rating. Several make excellent prep tables, which is exactly how the Lifetime earns its spot here.

Buyer's guide: a griddle stand you buy once

Start with the griddle's spec sheet

Look up your griddle's weight and width by depth before you look at stands. Blackstone publishes both for its tabletop griddles (33.5 lb and 22.75 x 22.5 inches for the 22-inch). Those two numbers rule out most mistakes on their own.

Leave headroom on the load rating

Griddle plus food plus a heavy pan adds up quickly. On a 48 lb top, a 33.5 lb griddle leaves 14.5 lb. That is enough for a cook, but not for using the top as a shelf as well. If your griddle is heavier than Blackstone's 22-inch, or you cook for a crowd, look at the Kwik Pantry's 70 lb or ask the maker.

Compare the footprint with the main top, not the whole station

Cook-station widths include their side tables: the Slim-Fold opens to 52 inches wide and the Master to 56.3. The Slim-Fold's side tables are rated to 30 lb each, and GCI publishes no rating for the Master's three plastic side tables. The griddle belongs on the main top only.

Choose the height with the griddle on it

Add the griddle's height to the stand's and compare the total with your kitchen counter at home. A stand that looks short on its own can be the right height once a 9-inch griddle sits on it.

Plan the rest of the cook area

A griddle cook needs a landing spot for raw food, finished food and tools. That's the Lifetime's job on this page, or the Slim-Fold's side tables within their 30 lb ratings.
